How to recover /dev/console device?

I associated a print device to /dev/console and when I used SAM to delete the print device the /dev/console file was deleted.

How can I recover the /dev/console?

Looking for the console at another server it appears to be created with mknod. In /etc/inittab it appears to be a simple link to systty and syscon.

insf -e should probably fix it.
