How to recreate a /etc/lvmtab via command line

is there a way to recreate a /etc/lvmtab file via command line? Which commands have to be used with which syntax?

Hi Peter,

Yes...just rename the org lvmtab file & run

vgscan -a

vgscan -p (preview)
vgscan (do it)

# mv /etc/lvmtab /etc/lvmtab.old
# vgscan -a
