How to reset the password without SAM

Hi Folks,

Good day to you !
When I reset the user's password from SAM, the system will give me the new password. This new password need to apply when the user login to the system at the first time (after password reset).

Can the same situation be apply with command line?.

have a look "man modprpw"

/usr/lbin/modprpw -x
