How to restrict users from creating large files on a filesystem.
I have 1 TB filesystem and I want to add maximum file size limit of 100 GB to that filesystems. Can I do it using disk quota or is there any other way.
My OS is 11iv2.
Thanks In advance.

Re: How to restrict users from creating large files on a filesystem.
Shalom,
You have posted originally to the Linux forum.
I will after I post this request a move to HP-UX.
Quota is how you limit user data on any Unix.
Cookbooks by HP.

In CIFS/Samba

Re: How to restrict users from creating large files on a filesystem.
I just asked HP to move it.
Let us know how the quotas thing works out.
