how to see parameter of "top" command ?
Please tell me how to see parameter of "top" command ? Have other command show system's capability?

when you issue top command it will show top 10 proccess running on your system , how much physical memory each proccess is taking & it will also show how much physical memory is free on your system , it shows CPu utilization in percentage. some time the top may itself take lot of resorses from the system & it may occupy some consudareble amount of memory. the other command is sar , which is nothing but system activity reports it also a very useful command. HP has Glance Plus software , if you installed Glance Plus , invoke gpm in Common Desktop Environement you will get the GUI giving details of Memory , Disk Utilization , Network utilization. Trail version can be installed from Application software CD (Part Number 5012-0081)
