How to set an box to autoboot instead of typing "boot pri"?

I have an RP7410. Whenever you do a reboot or shut it down it doesn't automatically reboot. It sits at the menu waiting for you to type "boot pri" I've looked at the config menu and can't see a place to set this.

Hi,

From the command prompt (after the OS has booted), type.

setboot -b on

setboot # to verify that AUTOBOOT is ON

Hi,
You can use the setboot command to set autoboot to ON.

setboot -v
#to see the current settings
setboot -b on
# to set autoboot to on

Hope this helps

Use "setboot" command.

You may want to go through the man pages of setboot to discover different options it provides.

Re: How to set an box to autoboot instead of typing "boot pri"?

Hi,
In RP74xx and Rp84xx models "autoboot" command is replaced by "pathflags".

I am not sure the previous posts helped to set the boot path or not!!

You can configure more than two boot paths to these series systems. From BCH see the help for "pathflags" (pf -> in short)

If I am correct this command is located under COnfiguration, in BCH.
