how to sync user account when using MC/SG

Is there any shell script can sync the user account between the different hosts, like the hosts in the MC/SG? Any info will be helpful

using NIS is a good idea.In our environment we used NIS to solve this problem.So no script are needed.

use nis. configure the primary server for the package as NIS master server and the other server[s) as NIS slave servers.

Hi,
there is no script available for this. you have to do it manually or use NISas other guy suggested.

NIS or another user consolidation program is your best bet. Otherwise you will need to sync them all manually.... not much fun - we're in the process of doing this right now.

We use to sync up several files nightly in a cron with remsh and diff. Starting at a server we arbitrarily designated as "primary', we didn't test for ownership of the package, then:

remsh node "diff file" file

One argument has double quotes and the other doesn't. I believe the local node doesn't and remote node does.

List the files to compare every night in an array and loop through the array, appending the report to a file which is mailed every night.
