How to take Ignite backup across the network

Hi All!

I have two rx servers that do not came with any sort of tape drive, and I was asked to take an ignite backup of these two servers to a netapps. Is this possible, shall I have to use make_net_recovery? Please any help is appreciated

To taka Ignite backup with out tape, you need ignite server. Later you can take the back up of that server.

So first, all you need is an Ignite server.

Configure the server and client.
then use the command mkae_net_recovery.

Any HP-UX server, that has Ignite-UX set up, can act as an Ignite-UX server. Ok, but I dont want to use those servers as Ignite servers, instead I want them to be clients, so I have to find another server to function as an Ignite server, them use that other server to perform ignite of those two rx servers.
