how to turn on GD Support in php ?

I want to enable the gd extension. I had changed php.ini as below. However, when I run http://www.mydomain.com/phpinfo.php, gd session cannot be seen. I know that gd support is disable. Do my PHP Version 4.3.8 cannot support GD ?

Hi All,

I am using HP-UX v11.0. I cannot find the following depot files of :

tcltk bison fontconfig libpng zlib

Can you tell me where can I find these depot files ? I had installed many small depots which GD support needs.

Hi All, I had been this web before, and I had download a lot tools in there. It is a very good web site. However, there is no depot file for HP-UX 11.00 for some tools. Anyone tell me how to compile this ? It is because I only know how to do by ./configure. But, there is no configure file.

Sorry, the file zlib should a depot file. I had installed zlib now.

Anyone know where can I find the following deport files for HP-UX 11.00 ? The support is very low now.

You can try and install a depot for 11i, mabe it will work, I didn't try it or the other option is to compile it yourself.

I recomplie the download file , but it is for 11.11. It cannot be run.

Let say , i download tcltk-8.4.9-ss-11.11.tar.gz. There is no tcltk-8.4.9-ss-11.00.tar.gz which can be downloaded in http://hpux.cs.utah.edu. After I download tcltk-8.4.9-ss-11.11.tar.gz., complie and make.

# cd /
# find . -name tcltk
./usr/local/lib/tcltk
# cd /usr/local/lib
# ./tcltk
sh: ./tcltk: Execute permission denied.

Hello,

I have a problem with installing libraries on my HP-UX box. The problem is as follows:

I installed hpws 2.0.53 on my HP-UX box and want
to enable php with gd-Support.
In the documentation of hpws 2.0.53 HP advised to install
the following libraries under /usr/local/lib:

Image (gd.sl) :
libjpeg version 6b
libpng version 1.0.11
libxpm version 3.4k
libfreetype version 2.1.2
t1lib version 1.3.1 (should be installed in /usr/local/lib)

So I looked under http://hpux.cs.utah.edu for binary depots, but I only have found higher versions.

I installed these versions:

(hpws 2.0.53 on HP-UX 11.11)

expat-1.95.8-sd-11.22.depot
jpeg-6b-sd-11.00.depot
xpm-3.4k-sd-11.11.depot
freetype-2.1.9-sd-11.11.depot
libiconv-1.9.2-sd-11.22.depot
