How to undelete a file in hp-ux b10.20

Yesterday I deleted a file in hp-ux b10.20. How can I undelete the file ?

You will have to restore from backup. There is no undelete function in HP-UX.

I have never tried, it is better/quicker to restore from backup.

That feature doesn't exist in hp-ux. You will have to restore from your last backup, or hope that there is a copy somewhere else.

Sorry. This ain't Windows (or even Mac stuff). There is no "undelete" feature.

Unix assumes you know what you are doing when you delete something and that you REALLY do mean to delete it.

You can't undelete a file in unix. The best hope is that you have a backup that you can restore from.
