How to unzip *.zip files created with WinZIP ?

Hi all,

we have a "transport/transfer" directory on a HP-UX 11.i machine
wher certain users of a project place *.zip files.
These files have to be unzipped first, so that the contents can be
accessed by the Database Engine.

gunzip or uncompress don't work wit *.zip files.

Do you know a suitable software, and perhaps also the *.depot
Software with it's download location?

If file is having .Z extention then you can use uncompress to unzip it. gunzip can be used for gzip extention, but your file looks like compressed with winzip command. try uncompressing with winzip or may be with pkunzip from dos..!

I tried http://hpux.asknet.de/ftp/hpux/Misc/unzip-5.50/unzip-5.50-sd-11.00.depot.gz

and it works fine :-)
