How to use SMTP e-mail client with Sendmail?
Before replying, please note:
Relaying to an Exchange (or any other) server is not possible. I am looking ONLY to enable 3rd party (eudora, OLExp) clients to send/receive e-mail from the HP/UX server.
I'm trying to use Outlook Express as my e-mail client; how do I configure sendmail and outlook express (NOT outlook) to allow me to do this?
Thanks!

Re: How to use SMTP e-mail client with Sendmail?
You need to use POP3 (or IMAP) for Outlook Express.
There is not a POP3 daemon as standard with HPUX.
First stop should be http://www.eudora.com/qpopper.
