HP 5m printers have control code problems on HPux 11.0

We are in the process of upgrading our platform (10.2) to HPux11.00.

HOwever on this platform our application does not seem to print to HP5m printers as before. some reports dont print at all or others would only print the first few lines and lose the rest completely.

Within Mfg each printer can have different personalities based on what initializing control codes are defined. (eg: landscape and portrait). On our unix box which has 10.2 all persanlities work while on the box 11.00 only some personalities work.

We have a HP4si which has all it's personalities working well.

I would be grateful if someone can give some ideas for me work on.

Are the printers configured identically on each host? For example, does lpstat -v report the same information? Are /etc/lp/interface/ identical or similar?
