Re: HP 9000 Console login Prompt problem

The reset procedure resets the terminal to use the first serial port (and US keyboard, HP emulation, 9600 baud).
You have to adjust the settings, if you use another port.

Unfortunately the reset button is inside the system on the GSP card. You have to open the side access panel to be able to press it.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HP 9000 Console login Prompt problem

Hi ,
1. Did you tried up with connecting laptop to the console. so that we can identify whether issue with console or from GSP end.

2. check for the console whether remote is enabled or not. hope f4 f3 key will be used for that.

3. Did you have configured lanconsole by any chance? try connecting with that.

4.Are you using correct cosole cable try swapping if you got another. Normally there will be W/M cable(which will have three ports ups, console, remote) will be connected to the server and 9 pin -9 pin will be connected to console.

Try to isolate whether console have issue or GSP.

Thanks and regards
