HP 9000 K 220 booting problem

Hi,

A old horse of ours just died. On the LCD it just displays "INIT C440 CPU01" and stops there.

Any idea what could be the problem.

INIT C440 could indicate that the system was unable to initialize the console.

700/96 console's remote mode (F4) is turned off (no asterisk in the F4 field). Press F4 to turn it on and system will continue booting
