HP A6847-60101 PCI 1000Base-SX Adapter Driver

It's a long story but I have a remote system that I have one of these cards in and cant get to it to put the CD in the drive to load the driver for it, neither do I have a system near to me to put the cd in to and use SD remotely.

I have been looking for some where to download the driver from from so that I can ftp it over but can't seem to find it. Does anybody know if there is a download site for this driver ?

You have access to the system via telnet/ssh?

You have another server nearby where you can enter the CD?

If both answers are yes.

Enter CD to the other Server
cwcopy the product to this server.
telnet to your system
start swinstall and choose source
the-other-server:/var/adm/sw

should work.....

THe A6847-60101 uses the "igelan" flavor of HP-UX Gigabit. This is also called GigEther-01 on HPUX 11.11 and later and should be included with your OS "Environment" CD Set. If not, download from http://software.hp.com http://software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=GigEtherEnh-01

I found some infos that the A6825A (copper) and A6847A (fiber) Linux driver is called "tg3". I don't have much other information beyond that. FYI, the A6825A and A6847A are "officially" an HPUX version of the A7061A (copper) and A7073A (Fiber) Gigabit cards for Win/Linux use the same "tg3" Linux driver.
