HP Apache Webserver & Oracle9i 64bit

I have installed HP Apache webserver on HPUX 11.00 (from HP depot file) and have Oracle9i 64 bit oracle installation on the server. I am unable to configure the PHP to use Oracle even after setting LD_LIBRARY and LD_PRELOAD,SHLIB_PATH to oracle 64bit libraries on the server. (Modified apachectl as requested in the HP WS Website .

Are settings different for 64bit versions ?
