HP compiler that supports greater than a 18 digit numeric (31) for U
Using PeopleSoft 7.61 and HP COBOL b.13.25 (Micro Focus 4.1) on an L2000 HP-UX 11.00.
Does HP have a compiler that supports greater than a 18 digit numeric (31) for Unix?
Thanks,
..Joe

Re: HP compiler that supports greater than a 18 digit numeric (31) for U
The HP-UX C compilers and GCC will support the 'long long' type, which is 64 bits (or 63 for signed types).
The GCC COBOL stuff might support 64 bits too, but I'm not sure.
I doubt any commercial COBOL compilers support it.
