HP Disk Array with Autoraid

I have two raid arrays that are A3516A.
I have 1" disks that are 18.2 gig. Can I get these disks to work in these Raid Array's?

Re: HP Disk Array with Autoraid

You have a Model 12 (as opposed to the later 12H) AutoRAID. If memory serves, 4GB's were the largest drive possible on these old beasts.

In any event, the drive MUST be single-ended SCSI even though the external connections are HVD SCSI.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Clay nothing wrong with your memory (:-)

A3646A 4.3 GB SCSI-2 LP Disk Drive (12)
A3517A 2.1 GB SCSI-2 LP Disk Drive (12)

Re: HP Disk Array with Autoraid

OK my next question. Is there a raid array out there that will allow 1" 18.2 gig disks?

They sound like they might go in a SC10, which together with a FC60 controller, make up a FC60 array. Do you have a part number for the disks?
