HP Events Notifier Auto Configuration

I'm looking at changing 100+ servers and want to know if there is a way of copying the config file for the Events notifier without having to hit on each and every "Events Configuration Wizard"

Any ideas?

Where are the details held?

Cheers

I guess yes:

HP - UX WBEM and its Web inteface components can be a solution by using HP System Insight Manager and/or HP System Management Homepage to make a bulk change.

Re: HP Events Notifier Auto Configuration

the problem is we have no AD here so its a case of remoting to each server and making the change. It would save a decent ammount of time to then import the configuration changes to this server via the same script i've written for the other changes

Re: HP Events Notifier Auto Configuration

What does AD stand for ?

Besides, in terms of most of server as cluster easier and cheaper way to manage them is having an WEBMIN (Webmin is a web-based interface for system administration for Unix.)

huhh, IMHO you should forget webmin. it doesn't secure. (it's just a piece of advice)

As far as I know webmin supports secure shell connection, I use ssh to connect the clusters. You mentioned security is an issue for webmin ,do you mean apart from this ?

Re: HP Events Notifier Auto Configuration

besides of securing the communication there are a lot of security holes in webmin. and after all, such a config-rollout should be done via automated keyed ssh sessions... (but I don't know the exact situation to help further)
