How I can change the "ids" user of HIDS password???? Doesn't work with
passwd ids
# passwd ids

Solution
Try to switch to user "ids" using following and then change the password thereafter.
# su ids
Per the HIDS admin guide http://docs.hp.com/en/5900-0439/5900-0439.pdf
The ids password field is set to * on installation on both agent and administration systems, which means you cannot log in directly to ids. For security reasons, do not assign a password to ids.
However if you still want to have "ids" as login account, ensure that its password is as strong as root's.
# su ids
