HP-IB for a HP9872T

Hi all,

I've got an old HP9872T-Plotter. It is exactly what I need in a very good condition, but it has only an HP-IB interface. I am not able to find neither a HP-IB interface card no the respective cable.

I've noted in a HP-support document, that there may exist some offers from other manufacturers.

If anybody knew anything about this matters (Manufacturer/device price etc.) or e.g. used interface card+cable I would be very glad.

Hi Ole,
HP Part # 10833C will get you a 12' HP-IB Cable

If you can give me the model number of the system you want to connect the plotter to I can possiblly get you a part # for the card as well. The Model # will be most likely on the back or bottom of the computer and look something like A1094A.

Another thought:
Also, another thing you might try is contacting Agilent, which now handles HP's old test and measurement business. HP-IB is a widely used interface on T&M's older products and they might have just what you need.
