hp laserjet 2100 series on hppi printer script

On HPUX 11 I would like to configure a HP Laserjet 2100 printer.

Using the hppi program which script do I select as there is no entry for the above named printer.

I would choose net_lj4x. You can also use the less capable net_lj3x.

What version of HPNPL are you using?
in E.10.18 there is a LJ2100...
Now, I just configured last week some LJ110 LJ2100 and LJ2300 on a K360 running 10.20, here I tried LJ4 as template and it worked, and the option HP laser Printer not given in the list - It works fine...

Thanks for the advice the script you recommended worked when the printer was configured.

The version of HPPI I have is E.10.34 running in HPUX 11.

But looking at the model scripts there do not seem to be that many there. Is it worth me getting the latest scripts?

No 10.34 is fine. The model scripts are now rather intelligent and query the printer itself for the exact model and adapt to the actual printer.
