HP-Mirror command

Hi,
I need to mirror one of the logical volume in VG00.My server version is HP HP-UX B.11.31 and all other logical volumes are mirrored. Is there any difference in mirroring command in 11.31 ? I got following command.

lvextend -m 1 /dev/vg00/lv_new /dev/dsk/c0t1d0s2

Please correct me if there any mistake.

The way of doing it is the same, the command you pasted is OK. Just you should consider what for device special files you use, legacy or persistant.

there is no difference

If you have no problem about disk device, it will work

Procedures for boot related lvols and settings are slightly different for 11.31, but for "normal" lvols they are the same (more or less - maybe it depends if you are using LVM 1.0 or LVM 2.0).

Overall, your command should work.
