HP Omnistorage replacement for HPUX.
Hi,
I am looking at building a storage cluster to hold a large volume of data, and as I have access to a number of disk array's and Ultrium autochangers, and read performance isn't critical I was interested in looking at something like the old HP OmniStorage product as that will enable me get as much storage space as possible from the hardware I have to use.
However after a quick search, it seems that OmniStorage is now obselete, and I have seen HP StorageWorks File System Extender but that seems to be Linux and Windows only, so I was wondering, does anyone know what the replacement product for Omnistorage is/was? or do I need to drop my HPUX servers and move over to Linux hosts.
Thanks in advance.
