HP Patches

If you look at a patch that has been downloaded from HP, there is info at the
top of the patch that says, delete the lines down to "cut here" and resave the
patch. Does anyone know that if this is not done, does it affect the
installation of the patch? If it does not affect the installation, why does
the patch say to remove any lines down to "cut here"

Regarding you request you have to follow the insturctions as wise you face
problem in installing the patches.

Why don't you FTP the patch from the FTP site.
