Hi all,
Try to do a col-installing HP-UX 11i, step as follows:
1. Configuration Menu
2. set FB on
3. boot from cd-rom (boot p0)
4. Interact with IPL - N
now, on screen it shows garbage and can't go on.

TERM has been set to vt100,
Could anyone give me some advise?

What console are you using.
Set the terminal to HP and then try.

Eric,

Hold the "D" key in the key board and turn off the monitor. Turn on the monitor after 3 seconds and release the "D" key. This will reset your terminal and start the installation. You should not get the garbage after this.

Hi,

Use the tip from Arockia. The option "D" will reset your monitor configuration and so you will able to view all the information in the screen.
