HP UNIX Printing
I am in need to install color printers in HP UNIX-11 server. These printers should print jobs from Oracle ERP system. My printers are Konica Minolta Biz Hub C352 and Toshiba eStudio 600 Super G3. I searched the internet and couldnt find the driver or how I could do this.

Re: HP UNIX Printing
Most printers now a days conform to some type of PCL HP driver. i.e. PCL6, laserjet, etc.
Check the manual for the printer and see what HP model it is compatable with.
The list of available HP model scripts is in /usr/lib/lp/model. Note that a lot of them are just copies of PCL5 or PCL6.
It will be up to the config in the oracle app how to handle the colors and functions ( should be standard PCL control codes )

Re: HP UNIX Printing
Hi,
any informations about using in an ux network in the manual?
Just try to configure it in SAM - either try to use the configuration of a similar hp printer or choose a 'dump' model.
Maybe you have to do several test till you get a solution.
What kind of network connection do they have?
Sometimes it's helpful to use Hp jetdirect boxes to talk to such printers.
