hp used/remanufacture website

I had read in an article that HP was implementing a web site that would have use/remanufactured equipment for sale. Anyone have the link? Also, anyone have a recommendation for finding a hp partner that would supply used equipment that could be placed under HP support (looking for fc10 hardware). Thanks...Mike

I'm not sure HP would be thrilled with us posting URL's of used equipment dealers (they are, after all, in business to try to sell new equipment). Have you tried a google search? We buy remanufactured HP servers from a local 3rd-party VAR reseller company (whose name isn't important). They buy the servers from HP, with HP warranty, installation and service. HP remanufactures the servers.

As far as we are concerend they are just like new HP servers. We buy installation and our HP CE installs them and puts on a "basic" hpux11i. We get a serial number and a system handle and we place hardware and software calls to HP. We even have PSS/CSS support on one of them.

The only difference is that they are cheaper. We just bought 4 x rp7410s this way.

Just call your HP sales rep. (We don't have one - we HAVE to buy from a VAR, because we are too small.) We have a HP SE for our PSS/CSS support.
