HP-UX 10.20 - inetd - listen queue
How does inetd decide how long to make the listen queue when listening on behalf of other applications?
From
ftp://ftp.cup.hp.com/dist/networking/misc/
$listenq_new
Wait on Client Wait on Server Limit Local Address and Port
0 0 20 *.512
0 0 256 *.514
0 0 20 *.513
For example the limit on remshd set to 256, while the limit on rlogin and rexec is set to 20, though all three a invoked similarly in inetd.conf.
