Pb : SYSTEM HALTING DURING LVM configuration
Could not configure root VG

I boot in single user
On ISL > HPUX -isl boot
After I have a crash and an automatic reboot ? ? ? ?

My disk is HS ? ?

There could be a clusterlock.

Boot thru' lvm maintenance mode

ISL>hpux -lm
# vgchange -c n /dev/vg00
#reboot

boot with -lm :

hpux -lm

then check the boot, root, swap, and dump definitions:

# vgchange -a y /dev/vg00
# lvlnboot -v /dev/vg00

See if you have the line "no boot logical volume configured".

If you do, then type:

lvlnboot -b /dev/vg00/lvol1
lvlnboot -R

then reboot and you should be fixed.
