HP-UX 10 and 11 NFS Security - portmon

Just getting started, figuring out how to make NFS more secure. The Garfinkel & Spafford UNIX security book seems to suggest that for better NFS security on a (Sun) NFS server, the portmon variable should be set, so that NFS requests that don't come from priviledged ports are rejected. Does this apply to HP-UX 10 and 11?

If so, how should I set that variable?

Hi Doug!

HP does not support the changing of nfsportmon to force clients to use priveleged ports. I haven't been able to find any information on setting the prtmon variable on HP-UX 10.x or 11.0.
