Is HP-UX 11.0 has 32 bits or 64 bits OS version?
If yes, how to check it is 32 bits or 64 bits.
Thanks
Wendy

SolutionIf you have 11.0 installed on a machine do a:
# getconf KERNEL_BITS
If it returns 32, then you are running 32-bit HP-UX. If it returns 64, then you are running 64-bit HP-UX.

Re: HP-UX 11.0 - 32 bits or 64 bits
ALso you can use
SAM--->performance monitor--->system properties.
There you can find the kernel width support.
Thanks

Re: HP-UX 11.0 - 32 bits or 64 bits
FWIW If you plan to install HP-UX on a D series, note that not all hardware will work with a 64bit kernel. e.g. there is NO working X.25 hardware available for HP-UX 11.00 on a D series.
