Hp-ux 11.0 multicast address

we changed the time zone on the machine (from US-ET to Brasilia) and did a reboot and started all processes and after that, we dont see any multicast traffic from the box. I am running hp-ux 11.0 on hp3750. I checked netstat -rn and all my routes are there. Put a sniffer on the same lan as the box and couldnt see any multicast traffic (either on 224.0.1.1 or other multicast traffic from my application). The box is not generating any multicast udp traffic.
Any suggestions or help will be really appreciated.
