HP-UX 11.0 SSH

I have T1471AA_A.04.70.021_HP-UX_B.11.11_32_64.depot and this says it does not have compatible package when using swinstall. Has anyone else come across this or advise?

HP-UX 11.00 is out of support.

HP stopped producing/porting SSH for it at that time.

The version you have is PA-RISC 2.0 binary and it will not run on 11.00 which can only run PA-RISC 1.1 binaries.

Your options are:
1) Get and install the last ported version for 11.00, which is around version 4.0
2) Try and compile it yourself.

I hope if your OS is 11.0(as per your subject) this wouldn't go as this depot is was 11.11.
You need 11.0 version for SSH....

4.70.021 is the version for 11.11 not 11.0.

This is incorrect. 11.00 will run 2.0 binaries but it depends on the hardware.
Of course it probably will not run binaries that were compiled for 11.11.

have you found apropriate version of SSH for your OS?

I have exactly the same version OS - HP-UX 11.0 and I can not find SSH for my OS.

I know you closed the thread, but I have recent OpenSSL/OpenSSH depots available on my site for HP-UX 11.00

I had already found this and found I require zlib, I now need a C compiler for zlib, can I use a compiler other than the one unbundled of HP which I will have to pay to licence?

For openSSH I require zlib, this requires a c compiler. I am having difficulties sourcing out a compiler for HPUX 11.00, can anyone help?

I think that compiler or something else will do for compiling openssh.

Though I'm beginning to think an OS upgrade would be simpler.
