Hp-UX 11.11 converted to trusted and X connections get refused. Ssh and telnet working fine.

Hi,

After converting to trusted a system running Hp-UX 11.11 users are not able to login using XMDCP.

nsswitch.conf is fine (passwd files). Accounts and passwords are fine (as users can login using ssh, telnet, etc...). Pam.conf seems fine as well (using libpam_unix.1 for everything).

The problem is only XMDCP using Reflection from user's PC...

I have taken a look under /etc/X11/ but not a clue... ¿?

Any ideas will be kindly appreciated (and points assigned, of course)...

What kind of error messages do the users get?

Did you restart dtlogin after converting to a trusted system?

# /sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc stop
# /sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc start

How did you convert? If you did it manually (tsconvert), then it's a known issue that all the passwords will be expired. If you converted via SAM everything should have been taken care of. If you did run tsconvert manually, then you need to run " /usr/lbin/modprpw -k " to reset the users/passwords.
