HP-UX 11.11: nodelocked licensing issues
Hello all,
I am testing our ECAD software on 11.11 and have trouble pulling a nodelocked license (tied to a lanscan id). Normally we would just set /dev/lan0 permissions to 666, and it would do the trick - but not this time. Would anyone know what it's all about?
Thanks

Re: HP-UX 11.11: nodelocked licensing issues
Alex thanks for the webpage; coincidentally, Supermax is one of our PC apps :)
Our HP licensing setup had been set up a while ago (everything is working fine), and we only added a few new machines to the license file - that's all. None of the 11.0 machines have issues, only 11.11 do. We use "lmhostid -ether" or "lanscan" in our licenses.

Re: HP-UX 11.11: nodelocked licensing issues
Alex, since 11.11 machine only has a problem with a nodelocked license, which is tied to a machine's lanscan - but not a floating license (not tied to a specific machine), do you think it might have something to do with the new 11.11 network driver "btlan"?
