HP-UX 11.11 on PA-Risc1.1

Dear All,

at home i got an obsolete D350 for hobby. I have installed HP-UX 11.11 on it.

Does anyone know where to find softwarepackages. All that are on HP-UX porting archive seem to be for PA-Risc2.0

Hi Lars,

If you have installed 11.11, you can happily run PA-RISC2.0 binaries without any issues. For HP-UX software packages,

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/

are the good resources.

You can run PA-RISC 2.0 binaries on 11.11. Check your kernel as,

file /stand/vmunix

It will be PA-RISC 2.0 supported one. You can run those packages surely.

Hi Lars, You can download Internet Express which contains more than 50 Opensource utilities compiled and tested on HP-UX 11.11,

Thanks, I thought the programs for PA-Risc2.0 didn't work.
