HP-UX 11.23 Auto Port Aggregation - Installation

This is getting frustrating. We purchased the product "J4240AA" and the packages came in, we purchased 4 (one per nPar) but there was no DVD media. All of the official licensing and pretty paperwork is in there but no media. The funny thins is, the boxes are all labeled "HP Auto-Port Aggregation Media". We were told that it is in the "Applicaions" CD we got when our 8640 came in because we ordered MCOE. We looked for it on both CD's but came up with only two small files:
Z:\catalog\J4240AA\pfiles\INDEX
Z:\catalog\J4240AA\pfiles\INFO

Is it really on the CD/DVD's? If so can someone tell me where.
Or was there supposed to CD/DVD media when they sent it?

Thanks

It probably is on the Apps CD. You must mount the DVD, invoke swinstall and point it to the DVD mount point. Then you must add the codeword that you got in the packages. This will then allow you to see the application on the DVD.

Hi:

You need to apply the codeword for the product before you can view it on the DVD/CD.

Look for a DVD called Applications which came with your computer. If you did not get this CD, go back top the seller and ask for it. All drivers and optional products are on this CD.

Re: HP-UX 11.23 Auto Port Aggregation - Installation

Eventhough Ordered Apps are not visible to the swinstall command unless the codeword has been installed, the swlist command will still list those products so that you can see them. Insert one of the Applications CD's and mount it on (e.g.) /cdrom and then
swlist -s /cdrom.

After locating the desired product, you can request a codeword matching the CD Part No.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

The server is at another location. Is it possible to copy the .iso image of our CD/DVD up to the server and mount in in unix then access it?
