HP-UX 11.31

I have three old servers that are going to be decommissioned soon.

One N4000 and two rp7410s

All run 11.11

Is there an advantage of upgrading them to 11.31 or given how old the hardware is, to wipe the disks and reload 11.11 ?

Hi:

As a "sandbox" for testing you could install 11.31 on your rp7410's if you chose.

Yes - there is a lot of advantages upgrading to 11.31.

Only the rp7410s will support 11.31:

You might see some improvement running 11.31 on them - what do you use them for?

Not sure yet what the servers will be used for after the wipe. This seems to be a good time to upgrade the OS if it's advantageous.
