HP-UX 11 Oracle 8.1.6 Install using Reflection X
CDE Login as root and X Window session fine.
With CDE Login as ORACLE the only window I get is "Introducing the Desktop". Is this something to do with the ORACLE profile?

Re: HP-UX 11 Oracle 8.1.6 Install using Reflection X
Hi,
Difficult to say... Looks to me more like a first time CDE connection (so to me it seems normal).
Whats wrong?
Regards
Victor

Re: HP-UX 11 Oracle 8.1.6 Install using Reflection X
Bruce,
I'm inclined to agree with Victor on this one. I assume that in addition to the "Introducing the Desktop" window, you also get the CDE front panel? The initial CDE session, by default, should have one instance of the CDE file manager (opened into your home directory), and an instance of the CDE help viewer -- however, this is customizable by the system administrator.

I think, therefore I am... I think!
