hp-ux 11i error message
Hi all,
i m having hp-ux 11i (hp900 L class server).
i got one error message "kernel Cannot read, host process disconnected: 1792 spid: 186 " can u tell me what ould be the reason.

What permission do you have. I mean to say you are a root user or sudo user.

If you were running an application, then you might have to log as root as said before.
But better will be to check the permissions of /etc.
It should be
r-x for all.
