HP-UX 11i

Question... Is HP-UX 11i compatible with the PA-RISC processor? I have a B2000 and a C3000, both have the PA-8500 processor, it's not itanium... Will the HP-UX 11i install on this processor?

yes. pa-risc is most definitely supported by HP-UX 11i.

HPUX 11.X runs rather well on a PA-RISC :)

HP-UX 11i v1 is supported on PA-RISC m/c's
HP-UX 11i v2 is not supported on PA-RISC m/c's

if the Version is 11i v1 it is supported on your machines.

11iv3 is still under construction and yet to be released.

All version below 11i supports PA-RISC only. 11i and 11iv1 are same.
