hp-ux ACE 10.20
I loaded from the HP site the ACE 10.20 depot file. How can I install it on a system with now operating system or to a system allready loaded with 11i that I want to downgrade.

If you wish to run 10.20 software, you need to cold install that OS first.
I would however unless you are the US Navy that you not use 10.20 in any way. Its been out of support for nearly a year and isn't anywhere near current.

I can't load on one of the newer system old 10.20 because the system dose't let you.
do yo know ok a way to do so with an old version of 10.20.

If you have an older D or K class system then you can install 10.20 on those.

If ACE is a requirement, you can do the OS first and then install it, but you'll face a difficult road ahead.

I agree to your concerns but I have to run an application that was stop developed on 10.20 and it is running good on older systems.
Talking to the company that develop the software they are recommending to stay with 10.20 because of some changes made on hp-ux 11 and one of the main concern was ftp changes that can cause problems of communication with a photo plotter driven by this application.
