HP-UX and vnode/vfs

As we know, Sun Microsystems introduced vnode/vfs framework to enable multiple file system support. The concept has gained widespread popularity and has been embraced by SVR4.
I would like to know if HP-UX file system internal uses the vnode/vfs as well as Solaris and Linux.
If not, how does HP-UX file system implment the multiple file system support?
Thanks in advance

Re: HP-UX and vnode/vfs

hi,

I think HP also uses vnode structure as a basis for supporting multiple filesystem type/ There is a header file under /usr/include/sys vnode.h .

Hope somebody can come up with more info.
