HP-UX APA

I am trying to create 2 4port port aggregations on an rp4440. I have the same thing running on two other rp4440s but it has been years since I created those. I have gone into SMH (3.0.2) and created the port aggregations mode LACP_AUTO, key = 9011 and 9021, chose the 4 ports and click ok. It says it created everything ok.

This is connecting to two different 2428 baseline switches. I setup the aggregation on the switches. The 4 ports show partner status ACG on both switches.

I have checked /etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaconf and hp_apaportconf both seam to be correct. But, the lan901 and lan902 ports in SMH don't show any ports included in the aggregation.

I am sure i have just missed a step, since it has been 15 years since i built the other two boxes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
