HP-UX C++ Compiler

HI,
I have an rp3410 2 way Server with HP-UX11iV1. I need to test a C++ complier on same machine. So before purchase it, is there any evaluation version available from HP?
Is A C++ complier for 11iv1 will also support for 11.0 with new licenses for that?

No, C++ is a product that must be purchased. There is no evaluation copy. If you already have a license for 11 and wish to move it to 11i you can providing you have the old HP order and/or the current machine identifier and the Application CD set.

See my requirement is I need C++ complier for HP-UX11iv1.And we already bought C++ complier for HP-UX11.0.
As we have 2-3 HP UX servers with 11.0 OS as well as 11iV1.
So same C++ copmlier which I already have will work for 11iv1 also?

Hi,

HP C++ compiler for HP-UX 11.00 and HP-UX 11.11 (11i v1) have different binaries. These binaries are included on different Application CD. So if you want to run C++ compiler on HP-UX 11.11 you can't install it from HP-UX 11.00 Application CD. You must move your license to new server or buy new license.

If you have a licence for C++ in 11.0 you only have to request a new "Codeword" for Application CD where is C++ for 11i.
You can do this in the "support" page of this web.

OK.Since you are having license for 11.00 u can get the package for 11i.Visit HP support site and proceed further
