HP-UX command "truss"

Is the UNIX command truss also available on HP-UX. This command exists on AIX5L & Dynix/PTX and can be very useful to trace program/environment errors

Re: HP-UX command "truss"

The HPUX equivalent of truss is tusc...which should be available from :

http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/tusc-7.0/

Also, you can check out the following forum thread:

Re: HP-UX command "truss"

Hi,

On HP-UX 10.X you could use something called trace
http://hpux.ee.ualberta.ca/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/trace-1.6/

On 11.X you could use tusc
http://hpux.ee.ualberta.ca/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/tusc-7.0/
