HP-UX Error: 4233360: Unknown system error

HP-UX ver 11.11 v1

HP 9000 rp5430-750 HA Cluster
Oracle RAC ( Oracle 9.2.0 )

Application people were running a job on the system when they received the following error:

Error = 'ORA-27061: skgfospo: waiting for async I/Os failed ( follwed by )

HP-UX Error: 4233360: Unknown system error

Application disks are on SAN Shark and Hitachi.

Any ideas what may be causing this error and how I might remedy it? It has only occurred once.

Log files are clueless.

Might be something went wrong on the storage-side...RAID controller or port etc. See if the storage folks have any clue about what's going on as this may not be related at all to the HPUX server.
