HP-UX Ignite across a VLAN

We have an HP-UX Ignite server.

We are now looking at implementing some new HP Integrity HP-UX v3 servers, but these servers are only accessible across a VLAN.

Will the HP-UX v3 Ignite server be able to service the remote nodes across a VLAN?

Thanks
Andrew

Re: HP-UX Ignite across a VLAN

You can execute make_net_recovery to just about anywhere as long as any firewalls and such are set up correctly.

The issue with separate subnets is the lanboot for recovery but there are solutions for that, boot helper, dbprofiles, etc..

The short answer is yes, why not.
